#MayIsMelanomaAwarenessMonth . Dr Aparna Rao, a postdoc with McArthur Laboratory, investigates the metabolism of melanoma cells. Her research may better predict patient relapse and help us to understand what causes resistance to immunotherapy and other targeted therapies.

Our PhD students earn much less than the minimum wage. We need to change this.
