10h after touching down from my USA trip, I had the great pleasure to present at the ANZSCDB state meeting in Adelaide, which again has been excellently organised by ANZSCDB's state reps Yasmyn Winstanley and Anna Oszmiana.

DREAMS COME TRUE - Podium at the #ironmanworldchampionship in Kona, Hawaii.

Raced my heart out finishing 3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42.2 km run in 10h01 in Kona's heat, humidity & wind -> laying 1h motion-less in the recovery zone behind the finish line. 100% worth it. ARMI

With our article published today in Research Australia's journal INSPIRE, our science is accessible and understandable to a diverse group of non-scientists - because who wouldn't be captivated by seeing in real-time how a single cell transforms into a new life? ARMI

On my way to the final destination of an incredible 6 months journey: Kona, Hawaii (USA). #scientist during day time, #triathlete during night time - I swam, rode and ran thousands of kilometres when others where sleeping. Only one thing left until race day: recovery. ARMI
