I arrived back from Mazabuka to find my work table tidied up.
God help me🙆🏽‍♀️! How will I find anything? Nemwine, I know under which book, under a file, next to the disorganised-to-the-untrained-eye pile of papers, are envelopes, one of which has the passport forms for the girls!

Life is ridiculously blinkered Consider this:
Millions in Congo, South Sudan, Gaza, Yemen, Ukraine are in a living hell. Here in Zambia someone held a party for a clueless 1 year old, changed their fake nails, complained because their nsima was less than steaming hot.

Today, the ACA @zambiaasks trained a total of 120 people in the Nega Nega and Nanga Communities of Mazabuka. At Nanga, it was lovely to see these CDF desks in the class we were training from. Interestingly, the Nanga community was also the most informed and excited about CDF.

That uncomfortable feeling of - I so wish I hadn't - is the first step to ensuring we are less likely to do a harm again. Failing to even pretend to be sorry for making the country pay back money whose use they can't sonta, says PF leaders would steal again given half the chance.

The absence of remorse for the theft of public resources under them, shows that PF leaders would steal just as badly, if made responsible for shared resources. Not only public money. These people justifying eye popping raiding of the Treasury shouldnt keep even Chitente money.

I am not in Chilanga today but, yoooh, that chicken looks divine. Namvela na njala in some meeting in Mazabuka🤦🏾‍♀️. The chicken was donated by Meluse🙏🏾, who wanted to treat the children in honour of her birthday that fell this week.

Spent the last hour changing the plug on my ext cable, using the only tool I had. Some fat, unwieldy knife asked for from the lodge reception. Had to make it work, or trek to the single socket in the furthest corner of the room.

All that to say, I've earned my night's Savanna😊.

A comment in a meeting - Many Born Again Christians have Morning Glory everyday. How I kept a straight face, I don't know🏃🏾‍♀️.

Sorry God - but you know me😂.

Apart from too much money in her ac, the Brits denied a young lady a visa for 'not showing sufficient ties to Zambia to convince them she'd return.' She attached her letter recently promoting her to a sr role in a huge company. But she'll go to be unemployed in a ka cold country

The UK & the US can deny visas all they want, but they must stop stealing the application fees. Keep the Administration or centre fee, but give people their money back. Surely a good part of the local Embassy & High Commission costs are supported with this money. Criminal!

My friend & two of her girls hv been denied visas to attend her niece's wedding in the UK. The ridiculously contradictory reasons:
Mum - No income
D 1 - Not enough money in ac.
D 2 - Too much money in ac. UK gets K16,000 in unrefundable fees.
UK still blatantly stealing from us

One of the main reasons I only go to weddings when my presence matters - people I am close to - is the communication speech. Antumwe sure, how many times will we hear that communication is the bedrock of marriage??
Then that mixing of Fanta and Coca-Cola 🙆🏽‍♀️.

God have mercy!!
