After a brilliant morning showcasing the York Adventurers archive as part of Lifelong Learning, managed to nip down and visit the Willow House excavations this afternoon. Such a great initiative and some really lovely finds too!

Great start to the Royal Historical Society University of York History Department York St John University History Matters event. Already loads to think about re communicating history from Laura Yeoman Andrew Morrison IPUP YORK et al

We had great fun hosting pupils from Dixons Allerton Academy today as part of their University of York Outreach visit to campus. Pupils got hands-on with some of our medieval archives, 19th century schools archives and 20th century chocolate advertising! We had some great questions and loads of enthusiasm!

All this AND I've been working on Archives Accreditation as well!! Definitely time for the weekend!

(2/5) UoY Borthwick Institute for Archives will use their grant to safeguard the future of the archive of Ian Curteis, one of the nation’s most influential television playwrights.

This is on display now! It’s in the UoY Borthwick Institute for Archives microform room all next week, and GUESS WHAT? Uni Of York Library is open all weekend and you can just pop in and have a look/listen!
