Goodbye today to three legends, Sian Rokita-Evans who leaves Faber Books after THIRTY SEVEN years! And a glimpse of the inimitable Nigel Marsh who has also just retired after an unknown no of decades, giving her leaving speech and Robert Brown, our super archivist. End of an era.

We are moving to new offices next year (The Bindery) so Arthur Robins, the genius illustrator of Little Rabbit Foo Foo, Macavity and Skimbleshanks et al, has sketched out an office mural. So that’s the real me with tea and that’s our infamous mystery cat ⁦Faber Children's⁩!

So we’ve just held ‘Faber Does Frankfurt’and here we are with our half hour slot diaries and Lebkuchen! Next year we’ll run it across two days because it was so much fun, not just productive. (Bologna however, we WILL be there in person… it’s the risotto..) Faber Children's #Eco

I can't wait to meet these legends tomorrow. I'm actually nervous. I think they should be teaching ME. Fantastic work as always.
