Started querying in early '00s w/ a cross-genre book (STRANGELY BEAUTIFUL), after 9 yrs & 22 full re-writes, lots of pro feedback, finally got an agent (who no longer represents me) & a publisher (that went bankrupt). But it went back into print (Tor). I'm still here. Keep at it!
