Today, regulators proposed curbs on Wall Street bonuses to limit the chances of bailouts and other harms to taxpayers. These rules were required to be issued thirteen years ago, but are still incomplete. twitter.com/FDICgov/status…

BREAKING: Judge corrects Trump for lying outside court yesterday

Trump said gag order prevented him from testifying

Judge: you have an absolute right to testify at trial or not & gag order has nothing to do with it

This is important! Improperly listing patents in the FDA Orange Book stymies generic competition which is proven to dramatically lower prescription drug prices, saving patients and the public billions of dollars. Go FTC!

I’m delighted that the FTC, under Lina Khan, is taking action against the bogus patents Novo Nordisk filed to keep the outrageous price of Ozempic artificially high.

Novo cannot continue to charge Americans $969 for Ozempic when it costs just $155 in Canada and $59 in Germany.

On this day in history:

A former president of the United States was held to be in Criminal Contempt for 'willful disobedience of a court's lawful mandate' by attacking witnesses and jurors in a criminal proceeding.

Court's finding based on beyond a reasonable doubt.

It's a good news, bad news day
GOOD: the majority of the Court did not seem to buy that a former president is absolutely immune from prosecution.

BAD: It's not clear that a majority will reject the immunity arguments & let the J6/DOJ case go forward in time for the election.

Frog in boiling water alert:

Who could have imagined 8 years ago that in the Trump era the Supreme Court would be considering whether a president should be above the law for assassinating opponents or ordering a military coup and that *at least* four justices might agree.

💯This is truly a remarkable moment. A former U.S. president is at his criminal trial in New York, while at the same time the U.S. Supreme Court is hearing his lawyer's argument that he should be immune from prosecution in an entirely different federal criminal case.

Ok so the big “compromise” position is to not grant immunity to *all presidents*, just to Trump by letting him run out the clock. Actually arguably the more corrupt position.
