Really looking forward to watching The Peculiar Sensation of Being Pat Ingoldsby on RTÉ One after the news this evening. Seamus Murphy’s portrait is a really sensitive, considered piece of work.

Can we all agree that people get ‘knocked down’ by cars? There is an increasing use of the term “collision”. It might sound more scientific but it tends to mask the fact that a truck or a car are very different from a cyclist or a child in terms of force.
