So much talent at MCHS that we can’t keep up. Karate, gymnastics, figure skating, dance, small business, cheerleading, hockey, basketball, soccer, awards…. Just to name a few.

Here is James Aylward (Gr 7) when he earned a spot to go to karate nationals after winning Gold and Silver at Provincial AFAMA Tournament in Paradise for Kata and Sparring.  He will be going to Nationals in May, alongside Shiva Poplawski (Gr 7) and Keeghan Wellon (Gr 6)!

The MCHS student council executive is in Carbonear today attending the Horizons Student Leadership Conference.

The Robotics club was hard at work during lunch today as well. Planning for an upcoming competition takes lots of working together.

Caught some people hanging out in the library today using some of the new items purchased by student council. Some PS4s were bought for the gaming club as well as some new games for the library.

We are now closed for the morning with an update at 10:30

We will be delaying school by two hours today due to road conditions.
