We commend Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2024 for their efforts to find an agreement for the #CSDDD , paving the way for a more comprehensive Directive in the future.

It is important to remind these findings from our EC study: the average cost of mandatory due diligence compared to the revenue of companies amount to less than 0.14% for SMEs and 0.009% for large companies. A small price to pay to uphold human rights and environmental standards!

Vibrant debate yesterday in European Parliament on #CSDDD

I commend the efforts of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2024 to find solutions that could be supported by the necessary majority in EU Council.

Our goal is to have the Directive adopted still during this mandate.

Horrific news out of Gaza that at least ten children have reportedly died of malnutrition and dehydration so far, while many more are on the brink.
 
1 in 6 children under the age of two in north Gaza are acutely malnourished.

#Children are at higher risk of negative #Business impacts, but often invisible in their #DueDiligence . As the process to finalise the #CSDDD continue, it’s important to remember that
