Battery trains can run a large part of the route without overhead wires and recharge where there is overhead wire.

This can economically replace most diesel trains.

New problem in Finland's Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant. Construction began in 2005, with completion of the reactor originally scheduled for 2009. After the currently ongoing test production phase, regular electricity production was to start in December.

The future is less blue, according to WEO:

IEA WEO 2021:
roughly 200 million of the 530 million tonnes of #hydrogen required in 2050 to come from blue H2.

just over 112.5 million tonnes of blue H2 in 2050
