We need to start talking about the need for accessible formula milk completely separately from conversations about breastfeeding support.
This is an essential item that must be affordable to all who need it.

Improving access to breastfeeding support and challenging the exploitative practices within the infant formula industry are vital in the long term, but we need action from government and retailers now.

Infant formula price rises are safeguarding profits, whilst desperate families are forced to resort to unsafe practices, putting their baby’s health at risk.

Together with Feed, we are calling on the government to take urgent action to prevent a public health crisis.

We have a very long way to go in educating nurses about systemic racism. Nursing education has failed woefully in educating nursing students on racial discourse. We must change this. Nursing curriculums have to be anti-oppressive. So much work needed. Wow!
