'The Cruel Sea,' was painted just above Sennen Cove, near Lands End by Laura Knight in 1967 when she was 89 years of age. It's a remarkable painting by any standards; is it any wonder the popularity of some of her pictures, particularly those featuring Cornwall, have never waned.
