#mangrove #restoration is a hot topic, and many global targets have been set. But how do we track and measure progress? Global Mangrove Alliance has launched the mangrove restoration tracking tool (MRTT). A tool co-developed by over 60 experts. #mmm6
The result of a study commissioned by the WWF in 2021 to analyze the socio-economic values of mangroves showed that the estimated economic & total value for the mangroves of Madagascar is at 578 dollars per hectare per year.
