Defra UK's environmental schemes can be an extra income stream for areas of unproductive farmland that can deliver for the #environment and #biodiversity .

Pleased to see the work of @natures_voice and Georgie Bray at Hope Farm today, showing that looking after nature helps increase farm profits.

Farmers are the custodians of our #countryside and Defra UK is working to provide the support they need.

Huge congratulations to our CEO George Dunn as he receives the Farmers Weekly 2022 Lifetime Achievement award.  So fitting that his commitment to the tenanted sector of agriculture is recognised as he celebrates 25 years of being our Chief Executive. 👏🚜🌾🥂

A joy to visit the exceedingly good site of #MrKipling cakes at Premier Foods Trent Vale.

Their cakes and baked goods have been a British tradition for years and are loved across the world, a great example of how championing British food helps build a #StrongEconomy .
