Attended my first Auburn Football game at Jordan Hare! This was a “Bucket List” thing for me! I was not raised in the south but you better believe as young boy, I knew exactly who Shug Jordan was and in my backyard I was always a running back at an SEC School!!

College Tennis lost a legend with yesterday’s passing of Dave Borelli. A lot of words could be said about Dave but I will go with brilliant & vivacious! Tall and Handsome a true presence in any venue! Dave was always very kind & positive with me. I will miss my friend! RIP

Indiana State HS tourney today. In the last 32 years I have been to every state HS tourney between here & Utah whether I was recruiting someone or not! My obligation to the tennis hierarchy of the state is to be in attendance it sends a message, that each player is significant!

Lendl was the first to play “plus one” tennis at the highest level. Big Serve, stay back & hunt the forehand! Almost every top player in the last 35 years has played that way. What Jack Kramer was to the Serve Volley Era, Lendl was to the modern Era!!!

NCAA rd of 32! Used to be win & punch your ticket to the final site! The greatest spectacle in college tennis 16 men’s 16 women’s teams with all the buzz around it. Best thing ever & somehow “they” took it away! In favor of a trip to a super regional 1 more away match! Ugh!
