#GreaterManchester SLC had a great time at Castlefield Viaduct Sky Garden last week.
They visited as part of their work with National Trust to see how accessible the attraction is for blind and partially sighted people.

Great to be invited to the #InnovativeAudioDescription workshop with My Sight Notts Nottingham School of Art & Design and Nottingham Contemporary today. We discussed different approaches to describing #art to #blind and #PartiallySighted visitors, and even recorded sounds for a more immersive experience.
Great to see others campaigning for #AudioDescription at games. Was actually at Lincoln City on Saturday and the AD from Lincoln City Audio Description was exemplary, and not just when describing the Charlie Hughes winner π #football #blind #inclusion Alan March Sport ltd
1/2 Alt-text provides #blind and #PartiallySighted people with a description of visual content within your social media. Not only is it just nice to be #inclusive but it also means we are more likely to engage with your posts and buy your stuff. A win-win, situation, eh?
