In lovely Llandudno for the first performance on tour of Migrations with Welsh National Opera. Such a beautiful spot.

Such a pleasure to hear these musicians play yesterday evening, and to adjudicate this concerto competition St John's School, Leatherhead. What a great opportunity for these youngsters to play with an orchestra. Congrats to Jacob on an accomplished performance of Chopin piano concerto no1 mvt1.

Today we took over the tenancy of a 3m2 plot at a local community gardens. A long, physical day clearing the overgrown plot - but a good haul of potatoes. Hoping, along with my garden, this place will be a refuge from the wonderful madness of a musician’s life!!
