Tonight, we celebrated the career of graduating senior Lauryn Samuelson.

She plans to move to Austin, TX, and work as a labor & delivery nurse. We are so proud of everything you accomplished, and we wish you all the best in the future. 🧡

Get to know junior right side hitter Jacki Apel, who was a 2023 All-GPAC Second Team selection in her first season as a member of the Midland volleyball team.

On August 22, 2018, then 11th-ranked Midland beat Peru State in front of a record crowd of 2,123 people.

Every fall, Midland consistently draws one of the top home volleyball crowds in the NAIA across the country.

This morning, Midland Volleyball had the honor of welcoming back former Warriors from various graduating classes spanning over a decade to take part in the program’s spring alumni scrimmage.

The end, but not the end.

These four seniors-to-be completed the final spring season practice of their careers tonight. We can’t wait to find out what this upcoming fall brings for them, their teammates, and the Midland Volleyball program. 🧡

Last weekend, Midland Volleyball players assisted with the Great Plains Volleyball clinic, where nearly 600 young girls and boys gathered together for an evening of volleyball fun and learning taught by the Omaha Supernovas. 🧡

Stella joins our program from Sioux City North High School, where she was a second team all-conference selection.

Since 2013, Midland Volleyball has an overall win-loss record of 277-87 (or an .761 winning percentage).

To break it down even further, the program has averaged 25 wins per season in that stretch of time. 🤯😎

Since 2013, Midland has garnered 20 AVCA/NAIA All-American honors, including 7️⃣ selections to the 1st Team.

Junior middle blocker Abbey Ringler is the most recent Warrior to be named an All-American, earning honorable mention accolades in 2023.

Midland Volleyball kicks off its spring competition slate today against Iowa Western. The Warriors will travel to Council Bluffs for a 5:30pm match-up with the Reivers.

Coach G is the bee’s knees. 🐝

As the head coach, Paul Giesselmann has won 333 career matches, which is the most in program history.

Coach G also holds the program’s top spots for wins in a single season (37), conference wins (14), and single-season winning percentage (.892).

Midland Volleyball has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award every season under Coach Giesselmann since 2010, which requires a team to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher during an academic year.
