Second job of the afternoon was to pull out these offending rambler rose briars from my hornbeam tree. They were heading skyward and into my rear neighbour’s garden. Now safely in the green waste and garden jobs are done for the day.

First job of the afternoon is to give all my pots in the display table a stand to aid drainage and, hopefully, keep losses from winter frosts at bay. 🤞

Was tempted by this half price medium rambling rose. Thought it might work rambling over my shed. Had liked it for quite a few years.
