Today, I met Sjaak de Groot(the greatest expert and collector of wild tulips in the world).He was a very kind person. I'm also sharing some photos of his beautiful nursery. I recommend everyone to have his mew book(Tulips and their natural history).

Well, it is all stolen and so is the rest of the country. But the 'crime' alleged here is not selling off/giving away that western part to private owners (the feds tried, all through the 19th/early 20th centuries!).
Also, they couldn't even draw that line accurately...

We live near one of the largest cranberry growing areas in the nation. In is a native plant and can still be found growing wild. 1/

Only cranberry growers and beavers are allowed to dam a navigable waterway and people trap the beavers. They also can pump water out of rivers, but other farmers are banned from doing that.
I think they don't need a discharge permit for water leaving their properties.
