Today may be cold with rain and wintery mix, but change is coming. Daytime highs will jump 20-30°F between today and Saturday; temperatures will be back above average with dry conditions!

A Freeze Warning has been issued valid from 2am till 10am Thursday, 10/20 covering all locations where the growing season remains active (the one area excluded is Tucker County, WV). Take this time to protect tender plants as all locations will see lows near to below 32°F.

On and off rain showers can be expected through the rest of the day, with locations around I-80 seeing snow mixed in. Enough daytime heating should minimize any additional snowfall accumulations on roadways in these areas.

It's going to be another cold night across the Upper Ohio Valley. The probability for temps to reach below the freezing mark is pretty high. A freeze watch is in effect for the entire forecast tonight (with the exception of Tucker Co, where the growing season has already ended).

of the Great Lakes. Precipitation type will fluctuate between rain & snow throughout this period, with snow chances higher during the overnight hours. Light accumulate is expected.

Lake enhanced precipitation will continue overnight into early tomorrow morning as cold air aloft streams over the warm Great Lakes. Some areas near I-80 could see a light snow accumulation on the grass. Areas south of I-80 have a better shot of wintry mix/snow Tuesday evening.
