: Edith Entratter Henry and her husband, Carl Henry, opened Lucky Stride Shoes in the late 1940s. Edith designed popular women’s flats at a time when many women were joining the workforce. Manufactured under her name, they used the tag line “this is the touch of Edith Henry.”
