I visited Fyvie Castle.
My great grandfather, Robert Third, was born here and my great great grandfather was the castle piper.
Amazing to see this part of my family background!
Wonderful staff was so helpful. They have restored it to how it looked back then.

Out last week monitoring the water-table level using dipwells at one of our #peatland restoration sites. We are determining whether our restoration work has successfully raised the water-table in the restored area relative to a control area.
