I visited Fyvie Castle.
My great grandfather, Robert Third, was born here and my great great grandfather was the castle piper.
Amazing to see this part of my family background!
Wonderful staff was so helpful. They have restored it to how it looked back then.

Culross is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th-century burgh in Scotland. It’s little wonder that it's acknowledged as one of the most picturesque villages in the country – or that it’s so often used as a film and television location.

There is no place like St Kilda – towering out of the storm-tossed waters of the Atlantic, it's the only dual UNESCO World Heritage Site in the UK. Its cliffs and sea stacks clamour with the cries of nearly one million seabirds.

Preston Mill, with its curious conical roof, is an architectural oddity that beguiles visitors. A short drive from Edinburgh, it was the region's last working watermill and was used commercially until 1959.

Great to capture some fantastic golden shots on a trail camera at Mar Lodge. Photos show the golden head of the eagle beautifully. Interesting to see two birds perching together and a deer grazing alongside the eagle.
