More than 34,000 Palestinians killed.

85% of Gaza’s population displaced.

Forced starvation.

Mass graves discovered in destroyed hospitals.

How many more atrocities will it take for our government to stop enabling genocide?

End arms sales to the IDF, now.

Rail privatisation has been a complete failure.

Delays and cancellations have become the new normal, and passengers are paying through the nose as shareholders line their pockets.

Labour will nationalise our entire train network within five years. 💯

It's now over five years since the Tories promised to scrap Section 21 no-fault evictions.

Private tenants will wait for years more if the government waters down its Renters Reform Bill today.

Labour will end Section 21 evictions immediately - no ifs, no buts.

Since the Tories promised to ban no-fault evictions, 85,000 households have faced the risk of homelessness as a result of one.

Five years on, the ban has been delayed indefinitely.

In unrelated news, 1 in 5 Tory MPs, including at least seven cabinet ministers, are landlords.

1 in 3 disabled renters are forced to live in unsuitable homes.

Despite the availability of government funding, landlords often decline requests to make homes accessible.

Politicians say they’ll do whatever it takes to stop the boats & the drownings.

But the one thing they won’t do is give people safe alternative ways to travel.
So we’ll always be waiting for the next tragedy.

Safe routes are the only thing that will stop the smugglers

Today marks the start of Black Maternal Health Awareness Week.

Black mothers remain 4x more likely to die in pregnancy, childbirth & postpartum.

This week is a reminder that action is needed to address the inequalities Black women face at every stage of the birthing journey.

31 years on from his murder, we remember Stephen Lawrence and his family’s brave struggle for justice.

Last year’s damning Casey Review found that the Met was still institutionally racist and failing victims.

An apology is not enough. Stephen’s case must be reopened.

For 133 families in Israel, there’ll be an empty seat at the seder table. We pray for all hostages to be released safely. To mark a holiday celebrating freedom feels particularly cruel this year.

Wishing you all peace & time with loved ones this Pesach. Chag Sameach.
