We spent Saturday morning with the DCF talking about how medians shouldn't be hard-scaped for walking, our footpaths should. The median should have trees and plants with soil for water percolation.

Tha'ts a win-win. We maintain medians with trees, and improve walkability.

Let's protect our trees stop hardscaping medians & develop medians as perculators of water for avenue trees. We had a tree walk with the DCF forest BBMP & have suggested to make medians tree friendly & maintain them for the lost green cover in Blru. #freethetree #savetreesblru
