Letter from a 14-year-old Dauphin Francis, future King of France and husband of Mary I, soon after their marriage in Paris on 24 April 1558.

Francis wrote to his mother-in-law expressing his happiness which, he adds diplomatically, could only have been enhanced by her presence.
