Hosted by UQ Communication & Arts and APNIC, our final panel for #netthing2022 day 2 will explore the emerging issues in internet platform regulation, including the transnational economy, fintech and cryptoscams, alcohol advertising, and AI and facial recognition.
In this age of digitisation and information, the Internet and access to technology is something we’re all guilty of taking advantage of. Our next panel will be discussing digital inequality and exclusion and the impact it has on vulnerable groups. #netthing2022
Our next speaker, Chandni Gupta, the Digital Policy Director at Consumer Policy Research Centre, will be discussing how the CPRC has explored the common dark patterns prevalent online that are deteriorating the online consumer experience #netthing2022
