I just saw the Mastercard Foundation Stand Up to Cancer movement in the MLB All-Star Game, and it made me teary-eyed. 🥲 It was a beautiful and powerful manifestation of support for cancer patients.

As I read about all the ASCO posters from my colleagues, I can’t help but wonder what happened to me. When did I become more interested in mechanistic research? Being a physician-scientist in this topic seemed like an impossible dream. But life found a way & I am living my dream.
