93% of #children admitted yesterday 2 Idaale MCH in #Baidoa r severely malnourished. While this drought is affecting everyone, children r bearing the greatest brunt. More needs 2be done 4 our children.

1/3 Cash- thank you for the resources 4 partners to already respond 2 the crisis. There are huge gaps in the needs against available funds especially for multi-sectoral response. More timely funded is needed as the window of opportunity is closing fast in order to avert famine!

1/2 Commitment 2 the Grand Bargain & 2 ensure that financing is in the hands of those most ready 2 respond. Collaboration as the issues we are facing in #Somalia & elsewhere are in part the results of long term failures in investment in peace,climate resilience and development.
