What a wonderful trip to #NaracoorteCaves with the South Australian Museum Waterhouse Club. An amazing group of people and such fun sharing the caves with them. Such a special treat to have Dr Grant Gartrell join us to tell us about his caving adventures at Naracoorte over the past 50 years.

I had a wonderful time tonight speaking with the South Australian Museum Waterhouse club about our #Naracoorte Caves research. It was a special evening as we were joined by this legend π Dr Grant Gartrell, SA #caving legend who made significant discoveries at #Naracoorte and many karst areas.

Naracoorteβs caves are up to 500,000 years older than previously thought.
We don't know why marsupial predators, constrictor snakes + ancient kangaroos became extinct.
