Le Monde has now seen the report of the French food safety agency (ANSES) that the 🇫🇷government has been sitting on. On risks linked to “new GMOs”, ANSES recommends a case-by-case assessment (as with other GMOs). But its opinion has been ignored and kept secret by the government.

At the very least, we have a right to know what's in our food. But that's only half the battle. Keeping GMOs out of our food is the bigger dogfight.
