For the second year in a row, the clinching match was a Monarch win over a top 20 ranked opponent as Sofia Johnson defeated Sarah Hamner 7-6 (7-4), 6-7 (4-7), 6-2 in the Monarchs win over 19th-ranked South Carolina.
