Six people from Watford have been ordered to pay £3,064.30 after being taken to court for rail fare dodging. Ticket prices increased Sunday, yet those without money who need to travel, and ‘bunk the train’, get squeezed even harder by the system. Socialism will end such inequity.

“Over worked. Under valued. Exploited” — what most working people will always experience under capitalism — not just NHS employees. The capitalist class forever wants to maximise profit and deny workers the right to a far better quality of life, free from all economic insecurity.

Capitalism being exploitative, deadly and destructive aren’t the only reasons it should go. Just like feudalism before it, capitalism is obstructing progress to a far more efficient and productive economy. Increasingly, people aren’t getting what they need under capitalism.

‘Human nature’ has always has been the concept most loved by defenders of the status quo. Slave-owners of old would claim that it was human nature for Negroes to be owned by white masters. Today, capitalists defend anti-social ruthless selfish greed because “It’s human nature”.

A ruling class will exist only while most people allow it to. The more people that want socialism, the closer we get to leaders, elites, and top-down control being abolished. “Democracy” comes from Greek words “demos” (people) and “kratos” (power), so democracy is ‘people power’.

.Keir Starmer is falsely offering the working class “hope”. A politician could have Einstein’s IQ, and still have no chance whatsoever of getting a capitalist economy to operate chiefly for the benefit of the majority. While capitalism exists, capitalists will always come first.

Interpretation: ‘Don’t be apathetic. Vote for me — Starmer — so the capitalist circus can carry on with Labour clowns instead of Tory clowns.’
