AEP has announced a temporary road closure to a portion of Piatt Road beginning Monday, April 29 as they continue to repairs in the Berlin Township community following last month’s severe storms.

Due to the incoming severe weather, Olentangy Schools will dismiss all schools and students 90 minutes early today, April 2. All afternoon preschool classes and after-school activities are canceled.

Due to the inclement weather and road conditions, all Olentangy Schools are closed today, Friday, March 15. All elementary and middle school after-school activities are canceled. Decisions on high school after-school activities will be made by 1:00pm.

Why is Olentangy Schools on the March 19 ballot? To maintain the EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE our students and community expect and deserve. While the state report card is just one metric to track success, it demonstrates that our schools environments foster educational excellence.

Why is Olentangy Schools on the March 19 ballot? Because of the OPPORTUNITIES for our students. Olentangy already has some of the largest school buildings in the state. Higher enrollment at schools means reduced opportunities in extracurricular activities and elective classes.

Why is Olentangy Schools on the March 19 ballot? Because our COMMUNITY is growing. The Delaware County population has grown by 21,157 new residents from 2020-2024 according to census data. During the next 10 years, we anticipate our enrollment will grow by 5,000 students.
