This #MigratoryPioneer Olive-backed Pipit (found by David Cuenca) is an unusual but welcome visitor here in #TheStraits - inhabiting the magical ornithological gold-mine of the Parque Princesa Sofía in La Línea
We also found our own pioneer Yellow-browed Warblers (x3) today !
This week we welcomed guests among the late #Autumn #migration here in The #Straits !
Rüppell's Vultures among the increasing passage of masses of young Griffon Vultures, late autumnal White Storks crossing and the flow of Short-toed and Booted Eagles continues! #FlywayBirding
With our guests we delighted in locating the 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 at the #Salinas today.
Normally it makes lengthy migrations btwn N. American tundra breeding grounds to the coastal wetlands and grasslands in S. America.
