Ottawa firefighters rescued a goose stuck between two rocks on Lemieux Island yesterday. Ottawa Fire Services

While our partners from Ottawa Police do their great work and hopefully catch this suspect, our Firefighters stopped to help a Canada Goose that was stuck between two rocks at Lemieux Island late this afternoon.
Firefighters were able to safely get the goose out from the rocks,

Ottawa firefighters responded to reports of an outdoor fire that had spread to the back of a building on Clarence Street early this morning. Ottawa Fire Services ottawa.citynews.ca/2024/05/23/bui…
The area has been made safe, and gas is now off in the 3000 block of Innes Rd in City of Ottawa. Repairs are underway; once complete, technicians will go door-to-door to relight affected appliances. We appreciate your patience. Thanks to Ottawa Fire Services.
