Attempted murder is hard to prove in Court. Did they want to injure the person, or actually kill them. The charge is often not laid because of that.

But I’d certainly say repeatedly kicking someone in the head while they’re unconscious would be fair grounds!

I’ve reached the point that when I’m invited to a celebration or event, I no longer ask who else is going, I ask if there’s gonna be food.

Criminals could commit armed robbery with illegal firearms while on bail for similar offences and Courts would look favourably upon them and call them noble for giving up when Police arrived and not engaging in a firefight.
