The House has concluded the Budget process by passing the Appropriation Bill, 2024 at Bill Third Reading. #PlenaryUg
House now carries a motion by Minister Hon Henry Musasizi for #PlenaryUg to resolve itself into a Committee of Supply to appropriate the Budget for Financial Year 2024/25.
MP Theodore Ssekikubo faults Ministry of Finance for the introduction of a corrigenda earlier today, which he said substantially changed the Budget which MPs are processing.
But MP Geoffrey Ekanya says the change is in response to government's effort to accommodate demands from sectors.
