Our volunteers have uncovered ancient sites and pathways, supported conservation, protected Cornish hedges, and improved our use of the Cornish language and folktales – and that’s only part of it! You’ve all been amazing – thank you!

Our #volunteers are key to all we have done, and by training them to survey Rights of Way and record archaeological sites our community can continue to uncover, identify and protect Penwith’s #heritage into the future.

By clearing Penwith’s ancient sites, we’ve helped preserve Cornish heritage and updated records to support future conservation. This has reconnected locals to the landscape and unearthed some sites for the first time in decades!

Our Access projects have raised awareness of the importance of Penwith’s access paths among parish councils, landowners, farmers and the community; improving the accessibility of pathways and the landscape.
