One of Latin music’s most famous percussionists was PAS Hall of Famer Tito Puente. With 120 records, 7 Grammys, and a legacy of fusing big band harmonies with Afro-Cuban rhythms, he was a virtuoso on the timbales, leading him to be called “El Rey de Timbal”.
