A Scotch Argus butterfly 💚 These beautiful butterflies are found mainly in #Scotland , with a good place to spot them in #Perthshire being the grassy areas around Lochs Tummel & Rannoch. The #caterpillars feed on Purple moor grass & it's always exciting to see them!

Second brood house martins fledging today, here one returns to the nest with a parent. Lovely burst of song/ communication from the other parent in the nest. Two swift chicks still to fledge.
