The suspect was arrested and vehicle recovered by Pierce County Deputies and detectives yesterday. This was thanks to a tip from the public! Thank you Pierce County for helping us bring this suspect to justice! More to come on this in a later video.

The City of University Place hosted a weeklong class for officers across the area to help them perform peer support in critical incidents involving officers.
 
The training will help improve their response when our first responders need assistance after a traumatic event.

Homicide in Bonney Lake. Sat June 8th at 7:20pm deputies responded to a shooting at the 11100 block of 166th Ave E. They found 2 people with gunshot wounds, one of them was died at the scene. The suspect was arrested for Murder 2nd Degree.

On May 17, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., the pictured suspect (sketch) raped a 19-year-old woman in the woods next to King’s Manor Senior Living Community, located at 8609 Portland Ave E in Midland.

Swiftwater rescue in the Puyallup River after woman seen struggling to swim out.

Deputies got their Swiftwater gear on and swam out to her then brought her to the riverbank. She was transported to the hospital and being treated for hypothermia.

On Sunday, May 26, deputies were notified of a large presence of vehicles at a warehouse lot near 176th St E and 51st Ave E. There were reportedly over 100 vehicles at the location who were engaging in burnouts, racing, drinking and other street racer type activities...
