Shark week at AHS.  Mrs. Neaves' marine science classes have spent the past week dissecting & learning about spiny dogfish sharks. They learned all of the major organs, how they are adapted to live, & how they compare w/ human anatomy.

Last night was senior night for Softball and Baseball! These seniors have served us well over the past several years as leaders both on and off the field. Join me in congratulating these students for their hard work!

Last week students in our Construction Academy had the opportunity to participate in the Home Builders Institute - Future Builders of America Program camp to dive deep into their skills from industry experts.

Our Culinary 2 students had to create a dish w/out knowing the ingredients until they entered the class. They had 20 min. to get w/ their group & plan on what they would make w/ their 'mystery' ingredients. Then had 45 min. to create the dish and present it to a panel of judges.

We know there's a lot on your mind, but don't forget that this Friday, April 26, is an early dismissal day, so all PCPS students will be dismissed two and a half hours earlier than usual. Keep track of important school dates at polkschoolsfl.com/calendars.
