Year 6 learned their second taiko routine today with Upbeat Music and Arts They are thoroughly enjoying these sessions and getting to experience some authentic sounds of Japan EAS_ExpressiveArts

The Year 6 classroom has turned into a series of anime studio office spaces this afternoon as the pupils plan and start creating their short stop-motion anime-inspired movies EAS STEM

Our holiday topic was launched today! We’ve been busy today, making ice creams, camping and stargazing in our outside area and packing suitcases for a chosen holiday. We also saw some beautiful postcards made by our learners and some excellent work in our beach cafe.

This week Dosbarth Un have loved working with ‘Upbeat’ to create some Samba music! Thank you Upbeat for an excellent workshop, the children loved playing many different instruments involved in Samba music.

Thank you so much to the generous parent who kindly bought in a caterpillar kit for our class! We were all so excited to see the caterpillars and cannot wait to get learning about their life cycle.

It may be the summer term but Dosbarth Un have been playing with ice! After a science experiment last week about ice, we have been exploring coloured ice, ice with toy animals trapped inside and even scented ice. Peppermint, vanilla, salted caramel and rose water!
