This week, Dosbarth Willow have really enjoyed creating 'Raindrop' art. We swapped our brushes for pipettes and straws, to create beautiful work using a range of techniques. The class are all very proud of their work.

Dosbarth Willow enjoyed celebrating 'Earth Day'. We created our own Earth playdough and wonderful paintings of our planet. The class were so upset to find litter in our rock pool, they wanted to clean it up safely with Emlyn's help!

Well done to all that took part in the TTrockstars competition Wales Rocks. We achieved a 139,251 points as a school!

Yesterday, our very own Dr Rice competed the TCS London Marathon. She smashed her PB by over 10 minutes. What an achievement. We’re all really proud of you! 💫🏅

Using the i-pads and different reading materials, Dosbarth Willow have been researching which creatures live near and in ponds. They also enjoyed creating waves, colour mixing and experimenting with paint to create beautiful 'pond water' prints.

We are excited to announce that we have entered Year 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 to take part in this years TTrockstars competition Wales Rocks! The competition runs for 3 days and we will be competing against other schools in Wales to see who can score the most points!

Some of our Year 8 French students were lucky to participate in a workshop from MFL Mentoring this week. Students explored how different languages use similar key words when talking about animals. Thank you to Modern Languages and MFL Mentoring Cymru

Dosbarth Willow have had so much fun today! We went on a 'Sock hunt' and we sorted all the socks we found to make matching pairs. We also talked about all the different colours, shapes and patterns we could see.
