In the end, I think our autobiographies can be really short. We'll be able to sum the entire story with a pause, maybe a laugh, and 'I had my doubts, but you know what? God was good to me.'

How do we honor God in the midst of hurt & misunderstandings?

We choose to speak with honor in the midst of being dishonored.

We choose to speak of good things in the midst of bad situations.

And we remember our job is to be obedient to God. His job is everything else.

Trusting the Lord to be our Shepherd can be hard. We want control. We want answers. And we most certainly do not want to follow Him through hard places.

But the Good Shepherd has good plans for His sheep. And we can trust the One who willingly laid down His life for His sheep.

Can you imagine the impact our lives would collectively have if we, as women of God, all chose to live like this?

Let’s ask the Lord to help us bring this kind of beauty to the world this week.

Wounds hurt, but scars tell a story. What areas in your life are still wounds? The beautiful thing about Jesus is He heals. He takes wounds, and makes them into scars, & then you don't have to hide anymore. U can point to your scars and say, Look what Jesus did!@JeffersonBethke

Oftentimes a long marriage is built on just giving it another day.

The presence of a shadow is evidence of the presence of light. Jesus is close, friends. And we don't have to be afraid.

Love requires grit. It takes a tenacity that never gives up or gives in. That sort of love can weather any storm.
