If an enterprising GOP nerd would just sell t-shirts with this text changed to LEE ZELDIN, the New York governor’s race would be over. (At least in the white males aged 40-65 demographic.)

I was right! It was the ACLU Rights for All campaign, bird-dogging 2020 candidates to ask whether they'd halve the federal prison population.

The intention wasn't 'let's create some 2022 GOP campaign ads' but here we are. foxnews.com/politics/tim-r…

Having lived through NYC at peak dangerous, I think folks who chirp 'What do you mean crime's up--I haven't been mugged!' fail to understand what a high crime rate actually looks like. Even in very unsafe places, at any given time, crime is usually not happening.

I was polled by the U of Iowa yesterday. Asked which party I more closely identified w/, I said GOP. They asked me if I saw a neighbor's house on fire, and then noticed a D yard sign, would I still call the fire department?

John is correct in saying a national UBI is basically untestable. But the issue isn't just the limited fraction of the population covered by an experiment. Most importantly, people will react differently to a temporary program than to a permanent program & differently in long run

This'll be the next phase of the right to carry debate once more data comes in. About half of states have gone permitless, but mostly in the past decade or so.

7yo: No I didn't! The chocolate all comes off in the milk!
