This week, Royal Canadian Geographical Society presented RCGS Fellow Mark Pathy, who was part of the Axiom-1 astronaut crew, the first all-private mission, a gold medal to recognize his accomplishments and focus on making a better world. Our CEO @MarkPFisher was honoured to be there for the occasion.
Grade 5/6 students had a great chance to hear from private astronaut Mark Pathy Royal Canadian Geographical Society HQ today. He talked to kids about his #axiom1 mission to the International Space Station, the training he did to get ready for the mission, and the challenges he encountered in space!
