Huge thanks to John Wilson and all at Royal Scottish National Orchestra for yesterday’s inspiring masterclass with our The Leverhulme Trust Fellow, plus our Royal Conservatoire of Scotland MMus conducting students. A day spent working on Ravel’s La Valse and music by Brahms & Tchaikovsky with wonderfully supportive players.
Yesterday, students from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland conducting department joined us for a wonderful day of work experience with the full Orchestra, conductor John Wilson and Assistant Conductor Derrick Morgan. Thanks to all for joining us and we'll hopefully see you on the podium again soon!
